QSE Faculty

We are an experimental research group at Caltech EE/APh. The Mirhosseini group's work focuses on engineering physical systems for processing quantum information. Current research directions aim to categorically extend the complexity of quantum systems by (I) developing new quantum computing hardware, (II) making hybrid architectures by combining superconducting qubits with chip-based phononic and photonic devices at milikelvin temperatures, and (III) refining control and understanding of medium sized quantum systems.
